Features of the On Cloudsurfer Running Shoe
Using Finite Element Analysis (FEA) software, we simulated the response of each component of our prototype as you walk. Using the valuable insights provided by this method, we were able to develop the optimal midsole – for seamless weight transfer from the heel to the forefoot. May we introduce: CloudTec Phase® – A new era in cushioning.
In CloudTec Phase™, computer-generated clouds compress one by one as you land. The result? Premium, enhanced cushioning and a softer, smoother heel-to-toe transition.
To save water, the Cloudsurfer’s yarn is dyed using the Dope-Dye process. This means that 90% less water is used in production than with conventional dyeing techniques. Any plastic elements are dispensed with. Thus, the total percentage of recycled material is 30%.
